Since 2020, Helping Hearts Fylde has been supporting the local Fylde Coast Community. With the current cost of living crisis, the amount of people who rely on our service has increased by around 600%.

Our wholly volunteer-led team is only able to carry out their work thanks to kind donations allowing them to provide a nutritious warm meal, drinks, toiletries, clothing and sleeping bags for those who are rough sleeping.

We also source temporary respite accommodation, cover the costs of private counselling, along with offering advice, guidance and signposting to external agencies.

Currently we are supporting over 150 people and their families each week in the local community.

In the beginning, we were walking the streets of Blackpool offering food, drinks and essentials to those in dire need, which grew to us being able to offer an incredible free service to those who are most vulnerable, people living on the streets and those simply experiencing tough times.

It is only through truly generous donations from the public, local businesses and of course our wonderful volunteers, that Helping Hearts Fylde has been able to operate a consistent service over the last three years.

Our overall vision is driving the service through continual improvement and longevity.
